T/W: Gun violence
The continuous rise in gun violence in the United States spreads horror across civilians concerned for the safety of their communities. School shootings are ending the lives of young children who have bright futures ahead of them.
This poster campaign reminds the public of the detriments that firearms are causing in our country and calls for more supporters to join the movement to end gun violence.

Goals
These poster advertisements were designed to force viewers in public to stop in their tracks and contemplate the seriousness of the campaign. The campaign's ultimate goal is to attract people of different backgrounds to take an interest in Everytown’s activism and join them in the fight to end gun violence.

The final deliverable is a visually striking and emotionally moving campaign, using the slogan “Shoot for the Stars, Not at Me” to humanize the victims of school shootings and demonstrate how gun violence is ending innocent children's abilities to pursue their dreams.
Client
Everytown for Gun Safety is an American nonprofit organization building a movement to end gun violence. Their work includes advocating for firearm restrictions, providing support to survivors of gun violence, and educating the public about gun safety.

This campaign proposes a different approach to Everytown's advertising strategies. The organization heavily relies on statistical research to convey the seriousness of gun violence, often through social media and digital assets. These posters aim to reach a broader audience by attracting the attention of viewers in public spaces through a dramatic and emotional appeal.
